The Calvinists like to talk about the church fathers. They ignore the real church fathers, the apostles that God used to write the New Testament. The real church fathers are Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, James, Jude, Peter, and Paul. The writers of the New Testament. Augustine, Jerome, Origen, Eusebius, and Irenaeus are church fathers of the Roman Catholic church not the true church of the New Testament of the Bible. David Daniels with Chick Publications has wrote a book on the King James Bible about the role the Roman Catholic has played in the history of the Bible. That book is entitled Did the Catholic Church Give Us the Bible? You can purchase a copy of the book by clicking on the link below.
Baptist Briders attempt to make John the Baptist the first Baptist and try to make him a Baptist like Baptists are today. There is a problem with this. The Bible calls “John the Baptist” because he baptized to manifest Jesus Christ to Israel. John the Baptist only baptized Jews before the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Herod killed John the Baptist before Jesus Christ died for our sins on a cross at Calvary. The ministry of John the Baptist and the ministry of Baptist pastors today are not the same. The baptism of John the Baptist and a Baptist pastor today are not the same.
The Catholic priest and Campellite pastor believe that water baptism will save a person by washing the person’s sins away. The Baptist Brider believes that a person is saved by faith in Christ. Which puts that person into the family of God. Then when the Baptist Brider pastor baptizes the person in water this puts the person into the body of Christ, the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ to the Baptist Brider is the local Baptist church. This is insanity. Water baptism just gets a person wet. Water baptism cannot move a person from the family of God to the bride of Christ.

Members of the KJB Study of Tulsa met Drew Worley last week at the Beale Street Blast which is an annual street preaching conference in Memphis, TN. He wrote a book about his experiences attending seminary. In his book he writes about the problem that seminary students have with drunkenness and that they want to get away from the ministry for a while. Several years ago we met a Southern Baptist pastor and his associate on Beale Street. We were trying to preach the Gospel to lost sinners on Beale Street. The pastor and his associate were apparently taking a break from the ministry and spending some time in drunkenness. Drew in his book calls this hypocrisy and he is right the pastor and his associate are hypocrites. You can buy a copy of his book by clicking on the Amazon link below.
