It has been 27 years since April 19, 1993, when the buildings at the Branch Davidian ranch were burned to the ground killing seventy-six people. Over the years since this happened, I have wondered what did David Koresh teach about the Bible? What attracted his followers to him and his teachings? David Thibodeau is a survivor of Waco and has spoken many times about his experiences with David Koresh. You can find a number of videos on Youtube where David Thibodeau talks about his experiences with David Koresh.
David Thibodeau explains how he met David Koresh.
I remember one day I was so frustrated with my life. I looked up to the heavens or at least I looked up to the ceiling of Mann’s Chinese theater. I said Lord what are you saving me for? When can I finally meet the people that I am supposed to meet so I can start my life? So I can do what I want to do instead of being in this rut. Please make this happen. I am here for a reason. I know I am not here aimlessly walking through life in Hollywood, living you know with a bunch of guys in a one bedroom apartment.
Two days later David Thibodeau met David Koresh in a music store in Los Angles, California.
We were involved with street preaching with Peter Schultz in Tulsa. We had a great time street preaching with Pete. Pete is a really great street preacher. At this time Pete and his family were members of a Baptist Brider church outside of Tulsa. Pete asked us to do a weekly Bible study with his family and our family. Pete and his family are beautiful and charming. Pete claimed to be KJB only. Pete and his family went with us to see Dr. Ruckman preach at churches in Arkansas and Texas. There are no King James Bible believing churches in Oklahoma. After two years we noticed some differences in doctrine about what the King James Bible teaches in the Bible study with Pete. It turns out that Pete did not believe in the Trinity of God or eternal security of the believer like the King James Bible teaches. The funny part was that we sat in churches with Pete and his family while Dr. Ruckman taught about the Trinity of God and eternal security of the believer. Another thing that was strange was Pete has one of Dr. Ruckman’s chalk talk drawings hanging in the living room of his house.
Pastor preaching on January 27, 2018
Pastor: The Greek word for “parakletos” means counselor instead of comforter like the King James translators translated it in John 14:16 and John 14:26.
John 14:16 (KJV) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:26 (KJV) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
In effect this pastor has changed the King James Bible into a NIV. The NIV has counselor instead of comforter. This pastor does not like what the King James Bible says in English. Therefore, he goes to the greek to re-translate the King James Bible the way he wants it to read. He wants John 14:16 and John 14:26 to read like the NIV.
Great video on witnessing about the King James Bible issue. There are a lot of people that do not know the difference. They think all bibles are the same and they are not.

Another great video by William Grady.
Which is it? Which is the correct translation of the Bible, slave or servant? There are those critics of the King James Bible that claim slave is the correct translation of the Greek and that servant in the King James Bible is wrong.
Romans 1:1 (KJV) ¶ Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
Philippians 1:1 (KJV) ¶ Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
Titus 1:1 (KJV) ¶ Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
Was the Apostle Paul a slave or a servant? In America the word slave has a bad name. Are you going to tell a black man that he has to be a slave in order to be a Christian? Yeah, that will go over really well. A slave is someone that is forced to serve a master that he has no love for, against his will. If the slave refuses to serve his master he can be beaten or punished in some other way. In other words he is forced to serve his master and punished if he doesn’t. A rebellious slave can be sold to another slave owner as well. The slave is subject to any and all cruelty of his master. This does not sound like the relationship between the Lord Jesus Christ and the apostle Paul. The correct and obvious translation of the Greek is servant. A servant is someone that willing gives up their rights to serve their master. In the case of the apostle Paul, he willing serves the Lord Jesus Christ because the Lord saved him from an eternity in hell. Paul serves the Lord Jesus Christ out of love for his great God and Saviour. A person that serves customers at a restaurant does so because they want to serve their customers. Even though a waiter is paid to serve customers, they do so willing. A public servant is an elected official that serves the people that elected them to office. Servant leadership is a leadership style in corporate America, where management serves the employees that work under them. A pastor of a church should be the servant of the members of his church. These are just a few examples of a person that willing serves others. A servant and a slave are not the same. The correct translation is servant not slave.
When you read the heading you probably thought that we were talking about politicians. We are talking about the Bible. Below is a conversation between a pastor and a Christian about the Bible.
Pastor preaching about the word of God:
I believe the word of God. I read the word of God. You need to read the word of God. We need to read God’s blessed book. We need to memorize God’s blessed book. We need to live by God’s blessed book.
Christian talking to pastor after the services: Pastor what do you mean by the word of God?
Pastor: Well I mean the Bible of course.
Christian: Which Bible is the word of God?
Pastor: There are several that are reliable translations.
Christian: Does reliable mean that these translations are perfect?
Pastor: No, these translations are only reliable as long as they are translated correctly. If you want the perfect word of God than only the original manuscripts are perfect.
Christian: Where can I get copies of the original manuscripts?
Pastor: There are none. The original manuscripts do not exist?
Christian: So none of the translations are perfect and no copies of the originals are available. So how do I know what the word of God says?
Pastor: That is why you need me to tell you what the word of God says. I went to Bible College and I was taught what the word of God says. I also learned the original languages Hebrew and Greek.
Christian: Before I was saved, I was a Catholic and that is what the priests taught us.
Pastor: It was real nice talking to you but I need to talk to some of the deacons. Hope to see you tonight.
Pastor preaching about the word of God:
I believe the word of God. I read the word of God. You need to read the word of God. We need to read God’s blessed book. We need to memorize God’s blessed book. We need to live by God’s blessed book. The word of God is the King James Bible.
Christian talking to a King James Bible believing pastor after the services: Pastor what do you mean by the word of God?
Pastor: I mean the King James Bible is the perfect, infallible, given by inspiration word of God period.
Christian do you see the difference??? Not all pastors are the same. Not all pastors believe the same thing about the word of God.
THE TWO-EDGED SWORD OF THE AUTHORIZED VERSION OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE (1611)
the OUTDATED GREEK
By Perry Demopoulos
The material presented here is a simple comparison of verses between the Authorized Version of the King James Bible (1611) and manuscripts. There is a world wide conspiracy of those of the “‘Yea, hath God said’ (Gen. 3:1) Society” that believe you must have, and or either know Greek and Hebrew to better understand what God said. These people have an Alexandrian Cult mentality, whether there source of manuscripts are from Alexandria, Egypt or from Antioch, (from which the King James Bible came). This also could be applied to any and all translators that are translating the Bible into a foreign tongue. Since the Alexandrian, Africa, Egyptian line of manuscripts do not present so much a problem for the average Bible believer to spot it is the men who are promoters of the Textus Receptus (or Received Text) that may give the true Bible believe a bit of a problem. Once they are laid side by side you can spot a ‘TR’ man for what he really is, an Alexandrian at heart (Acts 6:9; 27:6; Isa. 31:1)
Church Bible Publishers have high quality King James Bibles for sale. If you are a King James Bible believer, please do not spend your money at Mardel’s or some other Bible store that does not believe that the King James Bible is the perfect word of God. The Green family that owns and runs Mardel’s are interested in making money. They are in the business of selling Bibles. The whole intent of the new translations is to make money. The plan by the Bible publishers is that when each new translation comes out, that all the Christians have to buy the newest and greatest translation. Mardel’s is set up to accommodate the bible publishers with selling their new translations. Church Bible Publishers sell only one translation in English, the King James Bible.

The Passover Lamb
When did Jesus Die?
In Light of the Bible
By Perry Demopoulos
B.D., Th.M., Th.D.
(Missionary to Ukraine and Former Soviet Russia since 1992)
Our practice has been and always will be to use the absolute, infallible word of God preserved in the Authorized Version of the King James Bible 1611 in the international language of English. We make no apologies for this especially to any Greek and Hebrew scholars of this Laodicean period of the church age. All of the modern translations have perverted and twisted many of God’s words to prove their own heresies.
The subject we are about to discuss is probably one of the most controversial subjects of Christendom. Among the ranks of all the professions of “Christianity” (that is, if you are to believe that Roman Catholicism and the Orthodoxism are Christian) the dozens of denominations have their private interpretations as to what Passover is, what it is not, who should celebrate it, and who should not. There are approximately 900 million Roman Catholics, and about 300 million Orthodox, most of which will die and go to hell. They are taught that good works, tradition, etc., are necessary for salvation. Nothing could be further from the truth. In this age, the church age, salvation is a FREE GIFT, without any works (Rom. 4, Eph. 2:8, 9).
In this little booklet we are going to take up the subject when did the Lord Jesus Christ die on the cross and when was His resurrection.

Last Tuesday I received a phone call from a concerned brother in North Carolina who told me that a well-known local pastor had just told his Sunday morning congregation that I believed the Church will enter the Tribulation. He also said that the late Peter S. Ruckman had propagated the same error. (See attached internet clip at the 49-50 minute mark, Bright Light Baptist Church, August 20, 2017). You can watch the video at Bright Light Baptist Church.
This is a manual on street preaching by pastor and missionary to the Ukraine, Perry Demopoulos. This is a much needed ministry in America as well as world wide. Every Christian man needs to learn to be a street preacher. This manual is a good starting place.
In light of the Bible

One of the latest doctrines of men that has now taken root in Ukraine is the heresy called Baptist “briderism.” The word “brider” is simply a form of the word “bride” concerning the bride of Christ mentioned in Revelation 21:2, 9 “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
“And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
A “Baptist Brider” is an extreme view of a group of Baptists who believe that only “The Baptist Church” is the Bride of Christ. All other Christians supposedly make up the FAMILY of God, but are not part of THE BRIDE. The details of this heresy differ from one group to the next, but the general teaching is that The Baptist Church has existed since the time of Christ (some say John the Baptist) and that water baptism (that is “approved” only by other Baptist churches) actually places a believer into the bride of Christ. Water baptisms that are not approved are considered “alien” baptisms and are not honored by the Baptist Bride churches.
A great deal of biblical knowledge has been accumulated over the centuries since Calvin. There is a great falling away among the majority of Christianity, but there is a growing and thriving remnant of Bible believers. One area in particular there has been tremendous growth, is in the information available on the King James Bible issue. This website tries to document some of that information on the King James Bible. Edward Hills first printed his book, The King James Version Defended in 1956. While this may have been a noble defense of the King James Bible at the time, King James Bible believers in 2017 look back on this book as being weak at best. Likewise, Calvin’s understanding of the Bible was infantile compared to what is available today.
The Christian seminaries are in the business of destroying Christians’ faith in the Bible instead of building Christians’ faith in the Bible. Doug Stauffer has wrote a tremendous book defending the King James Bible. His book is entitled One Book Stands Alone-The Key to Believing the Bible. You can purchase a copy of the book at the link below.
It is impossible to teach about how we got the Bible without teaching the role of the Catholic Church in attacking the Bible. Doug Stauffer has wrote a tremendous book defending the King James Bible. Are seminaries actually cemeteries? Do seminaries quench the Holy Spirit of God, but destroying Christians’ faith in the Bible?
