The Sabbath is for the Nation of Israel, Not America

The Sabbath is for the Land of Israel not America

Deuteronomy 4:14 (KJV) And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

The nation of Israel was to do the statutes and judgments in the land of Israel not America.

Deuteronomy 5:31 (KJV) But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

The nation of Israel was to do the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgements in the land of Israel not America.  The Sabbath was part of the commandments.  The Sabbath is for the nation of Israel to keep in the land of Israel.  The Sabbath is not for America, at least not until the millennial reign of Christ.

Deuteronomy 6:1 (KJV) ¶ Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

The commandments, the statutes, and the judgments are for the nation of Israel to do in the land of Israel.  The Seventh Day Adventist and the Hebrew Roots people have this all wrong.  They need to spend some time reading the King James Bible.

Deuteronomy 12:1 (KJV) ¶ These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

Once again the statutes and judgments are for the nation of Israel to do in the land of Israel, not America.  The Sabbath is not for North America, Africa, South America, Europe, Asia, etc.  If you think the Sabbath is for America during the church age, then you need to do some serious reading and study of the King James Bible.  It is just not so.

    1. Ronnie, thank you for your interest in the King James Bible Study of Tulsa. To answer your question, I am in the Spirit of God.

Romans 6:14 (KJV) For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Galatians 3:2 (KJV) This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Galatians 5:4 (KJV) Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

1 Timothy 1:9 (KJV) Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

Ronnie, are you lawless and disobedient, ungodly and a sinner, unholy and profane, have you murdered your father and mother, are you a manslayer??? If you are, then the law is for you.

      1. If you are in the Spirit of God, again I post Romans 8:6-8 or read the whole of Chapter 8 carefully. 🙂
what about the words of Paul which says we have sin dwelling in our flesh Romans7? or the words of John which he says in 1 John 1:9 to confess sins. And John in 1 John says if we say we have no sin we make God a liar. To whom was those words in 1 John written to?

        1. Ronnie, I am not sure what your point is. Since you posted on “The Sabbath is for the Nation of Israel, Not America” are you disputing what this blog post says? Or are you in agreement with this blog post? Are you saying that Christians need to keep the Sabbath? Are you into Hebrew Roots or a follower of Garner Ted Armstrong and Herbert W. Armstrong? Please clarify the point you are trying to make, then I will be better able to respond to your questions.

  1. Whosoever committeth sin trangresseth also the law: for Sin is transgression of the Law. 1 John 3:4 the 4rh commandment of that Law is Keep the Sabbath Holy. Do you keep the sabbath that God set down in His Word or a man made tradition by the Catholic church. If it’s the later than you are LIVING in SIn.. just like a drunkard or porn addict or other sins we, Bible Believers like to throw around as worse than others. I am a Bible Believer was raised Fundamental Independent Baptist turning away from those Man Made teachings to the teachings of God. His teachings start in the Beginning of the Bible not at the Coming of His Son. Who by the way, said “If you are My friend you will Do as I command you.” His words are Not His but the Fathers .. so are you really living a more sinless life if you are willing to break the 4th commandment for a tradition of Men? Jesus and Paul preached against hypocrisy. I seriously think you need to read romans 8 and go slowly over verses 6-8 and Go to 1 Cor. 7:19 I know that we never listen to people that we disagree with. I hope you are different. Peace in Jesus name

    1. Ronnie, this is great. You are finally being somewhat honest about what you really believe. Let the chips fall where they may. Turn all 52 cards face up on the table. Don’t hide behind some mask. Just be honest. I need one more piece of information from you. You said that you were raised as a Fundamental Independent Baptist. Hopefully you were not raised as a Baptist Brider. Briders are some of the worst. You told me what you were raised as. What are you now??? Seventh Day Adventist, Hebrew Roots, follower of Garner Ted Armstrong and Herbert W. Armstrong. Ronnie what are you now??? Try to come clean.

  2. You might want to read Romans 11 and figure out whom the Gentiles are grafted into. Might want to read Ephesians 2 slowly and closely as well. there is no “Christian church”. There is only Israel or Sinners bound for hell. Only 2 .. not 3 types of people. Not Israel, Church and Sinners. Take off the church glasses and think for yourself.

    1. Ronnie, apparently your bible is missing 1 Corinthians 10:32. There are three groups of people in the Bible. The Jews, the Gentiles and the church of God.

1 Corinthians 10:32 (KJV) Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Ronnie, you are not much of a bible believer, now are you? The word “church” or “churches” appears over one hundred times in the New Testament. Did you take a pair of scissors and cut the words “church” and “churches” out of your bible?

What do you do with Ephesians 5:22-33???

Ephesians 5:22 (KJV) ¶ Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Ephesians 5:23 (KJV) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Ephesians 5:24 (KJV) Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
      Ephesians 5:25 (KJV) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Ephesians 5:26 (KJV) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Ephesians 5:27 (KJV) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Ephesians 5:28 (KJV) So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Ephesians 5:29 (KJV) For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
Ephesians 5:30 (KJV) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Ephesians 5:31 (KJV) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
Ephesians 5:32 (KJV) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Ephesians 5:33 (KJV) Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

      1. The word translated for “church” is a generic word in the Greek for assembly. A public assembly of any type pagan, political or religious. There are only 2 types of people Saints or sinners. Unbelievers of the Jews and Gentiles are actually one group (sinners). Then the saved from among those 2 groups making One New Man. Go ahead and twist it your way. Saints are of Israel Psalms148:14 KJV. God has only His people. Obedient to His word.
Btw, there is no “Church” door on the New Jerusalem. And I know of no “church” that calls itself by name from among one of the Tribes of Israel. So how do you plan on getting in? Do you keep the Commandments because only those that do get to enter the gates into the city and have access to the tree of life. Revelations 22:14
Oh, idol worshipers don’t get into the New Jerusalem. The Bible that KJV only believers are worshipping is an image made out of wood. Wood is used to make paper. Revelations 9:20

        1. Ronnie, the Bible clearly states that there are three groups not two like you believe.

1 Corinthians 10:32 (KJV) Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

1 Corinthians 10:32 makes it clear that there are three groups. The Jews, the Gentiles and the church.

Ronnie, this is the problem that you have. When shown a clear teaching from the Bible you refuse to change what you believe.

Christians are in New Jerusalem. Here are a few verses from the Bible that prove Christians are in New Jerusalem.

Galatians 4:26 (KJV) But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Revelation 21:1 (KJV) ¶ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Revelation 21:2 (KJV) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation 21:3 (KJV) And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Revelation 21:4 (KJV) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:5 (KJV) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Revelation 21:6 (KJV) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Revelation 21:7 (KJV) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Revelation 21:8 (KJV) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 21:9 (KJV) ¶ And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
Revelation 21:10 (KJV) And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
          Revelation 21:11 (KJV) Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Revelation 21:12 (KJV) And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Revelation 21:13 (KJV) On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
Revelation 21:14 (KJV) And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Revelation 21:15 (KJV) And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
Revelation 21:16 (KJV) And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
Revelation 21:17 (KJV) And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
Revelation 21:18 (KJV) And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
          Revelation 21:19 (KJV) And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
Revelation 21:20 (KJV) The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
Revelation 21:21 (KJV) And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Revelation 21:22 (KJV) And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Revelation 21:23 (KJV) And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Revelation 21:24 (KJV) And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Revelation 21:25 (KJV) And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Revelation 21:26 (KJV) And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
Revelation 21:27 (KJV) And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Ronnie, you need to read Revelation 21 about New Jerusalem being the bride of Christ. The church is the bride of Christ. New Jersusalem is the “bride, the Lamb’s wife” in Revelation 21:9. The Lamb is the Lord Jesus Christ and the bride is the church.

          Ephesians 5:25 (KJV) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Ephesians 5:26 (KJV) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Ephesians 5:27 (KJV) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Ronnie, Ephesians 5 tells us that the church is the bride of Christ.

Ronnie, I do not need the tree of Life, because I have the Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 5:30 (KJV) The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Acts 10:39 (KJV) And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

Acts 13:29 (KJV) And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.

I have the tree that Christ was crucified on for my sins in my place. This is my tree of life. This is the tree of life for Christians in the dispensation of the church.

In conclusion Ronnie, we believe the King James Bible is the word of God. We do not worship the King James Bible, we simply believe that it is the word of God. We are not like you, in that you do not have a Bible that you believe in. All you have is your opinions based on your false beliefs.

  3. I have no idea of what a Brider is. So I guess not. I am a Bible Believer, names or titles do no good. because you as I can tell, will try to use your false knowledge of what you ‘think’ you know of the group to ‘attack’ me. I am not going to give you what you want because it detracts from true discussion. And maybe if these talks seem clear and clean from you and you accept that I am not willing to let you control me. I will just discuss Scripture and let you work it out the best you can. truth of the Word is all that matters. Do you agree?

  4. Not only do you break the Sabbath but you break the 2nd command and I quote the KJV Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. I found proof of the idolatry on your website.
You have endorsed a book “One Book Stands Alone-the Key to Believing the Bible” by Doug Stauffer. The date is August 2, 2017 Seminaries or Cemeteries??? I will quote a portion of what is take from his book in the image and I quote “Young men enter seminaries having obeyed the call of God on their lives. they arrive on campus with zeal and a heart afire. But something changes. For many of them, the book (King James Bible) that saved them and the one that set them afire is not reverenced by their teachers and is actually ridiculed and questioned.”
WOW.. really the BOOK that SAVED THEM.. Not Jesus Christ but a book. That my friend is Idolatry. I see more mention of the Book than Jesus on your entire website. Jesus is mentioned but He really is a side note to the KJV Bible. Jesus is suppose to be #1 to us not a translation. I read the KJV because I like to, not because it “saved me.”

    1. Psalm 138:2 (KJV) I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Ronnie, a man is only as good as his word and a man’s word is his bond. This is the reason that God puts his word above his name. If God’s word is not good, then this is a reflection on the name of God. You have attended churches that have not taught you the proper place of the word of God, the Bible. Apparently, you have not read Psalm 138:2. Jesus Christ is made known to people by revelation. God reveals himself by words written in the Bible. What we know about the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed to us in the Bible. There is no other way to know of the virgin birth of Christ other than reading about the virgin birth of Christ in the Gospels in the Bible. God communicates with man using words. This is the reason that Jesus Christ is the Word of God. This is one of the characteristics of man that separates us from animals. Animals do not have any written language.

John 1:1 (KJV) ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 (KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1 John 5:7 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Revelation 19:13 (KJV) And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Ronnie, this is the reason that we defend the King James Bible. The King James Bible gives an accurate picture of who Jesus Christ is. The new bibles like the ESV, NIV, NASV, etc. change who Jesus Christ is. In Luke 2:33 in the ESV Joseph is changed to father. Everyone knows that Jesus Christ’s father is God the Father, the first person of the Trinity.

Luke 2:33 ESV And his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him.

Luke 2:33 (KJV) And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

In Isaiah 14:12 the NIV removes the name of Lucifer from the Bible. It also creates confusion about who Isaiah 14:12 is about.

Isa 14:12 NIV How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

Isaiah 14:12 (KJV) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Jesus Christ is the morning star in Revelation 22:16. One could think that Isaiah 14:12 is about Jesus Christ instead of Lucifer. The new bibles change who Jesus Christ is.

(Revelation 22:16 NIV) “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

Revelation 22:16 (KJV) I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Ronnie, you apparently did not learn much Bible at the Independent Baptist church you attended. Most Independent Baptist churches are “Simon Says churches”. When I attended a government school as a youth we played Simon Says. The teacher would say a command such as “clap your hands”, “stand up”, or “sit down”. If the teacher said “Simon Says clap your hands”, you had to do it. If you didn’t you were out of the game. If the teacher said “clap your hands” without saying Simon Says then you were not to clap your hands. If you did clap your hands then you were out of the game. This is the way that a lot of Independent Baptist churches operate. What the pastor says is the way it is. If the pastor says that the Bible teaches XYZ, then the Bible teaches XYZ even if no scriptures in the Bible teach XYZ. At the King James Bible Study of Tulsa we operate a little different from the Simon Says Baptist churches. The King James Bible Study of Tulsa is about teaching the Bible not my opinion. I may offer my opinion on a subject, but it is just my opinion. I would never say that the Bible teaches XYZ, without backing it up with an abundance of Bible verses.

  5. About the Sabbath, did you know that the Israelites kept Sabbath outside the land of Israel, 40 yrs in the wilderness and in exile, in Babylon? If its only for in the land you better go to Brooklyn and correct those wayward Jews. And those in Europe. They need your correction pronto. The Sabbath is part of the 10 Commandments. If the Sabbath is for the land only, I can only assume the commands about murder and covetousness and bearing false witness are for the land only, as well. So we can just do as we please because we don’t live in the land. If people would actually think about things, they would see through these very bad and disobedient teachings against God and His word. Gods word is for all mankind. His Sabbath is part of His word. Paul said, imitate me as I imitate Christ. Well Christ kept Sabbath and so did Paul and his ministry was outside the land. You can’t imitate someone and do the exact opposite of them. Christian means Christ like. But Christians don’t live or obey the Father like Christ did. Actually Christians are taught to obey the traditions of men.

    1. Ronnie, yes we have read in the Bible that Israel kept the Sabbath before entering the land. We gave you the verses in the Bible which God told Israel to keep the Sabbath in the land. Here are those verses again.

Deuteronomy 4:14 (KJV) And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

Deuteronomy 5:31 (KJV) But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

Deuteronomy 6:1 (KJV) ¶ Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

Deuteronomy 12:1 (KJV) ¶ These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

Ronnie, where in the Bible does it say that the Jews kept the Sabbath in exile in Babylon??? Let’s see book, chapter, and verse.

This is America. There is religious freedom in America. Jews can keep the Sabbath in America, however it will do them no good. Ronnie, keeping the Sabbath will not help you with God either. The Jews need to believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is Jesus Christ died for your sins according to the Scriptures. The Lord Jesus Christ was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. You need to believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ instead of keeping the Sabbath.

The Lord Jesus Christ and the apostle Paul both kept the Sabbath because they were Jews in the land of Israel.

Ronnie, maybe you need to read Acts 15.

Acts 15:6 (KJV) ¶ And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
Acts 15:7 (KJV) And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
      Acts 15:8 (KJV) And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
Acts 15:9 (KJV) And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
Acts 15:10 (KJV) Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Acts 15:11 (KJV) But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Acts 15:12 (KJV) Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
Acts 15:13 (KJV) And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
Acts 15:14 (KJV) Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
Acts 15:15 (KJV) And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
Acts 15:16 (KJV) After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
Acts 15:17 (KJV) That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
Acts 15:18 (KJV) Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
Acts 15:19 (KJV) Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
Acts 15:20 (KJV) But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
Acts 15:21 (KJV) For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Acts 15:22 (KJV) ¶ Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
Acts 15:23 (KJV) And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
Acts 15:24 (KJV) Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
Acts 15:25 (KJV) It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
Acts 15:26 (KJV) Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 15:27 (KJV) We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
      Acts 15:28 (KJV) For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
Acts 15:29 (KJV) That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Acts 15:30 (KJV) So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
Acts 15:31 (KJV) Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
Acts 15:32 (KJV) And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
Acts 15:33 (KJV) And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.
Acts 15:34 (KJV) Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.
Acts 15:35 (KJV) Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

It is interesting that in Acts 15:22-29 that the apostles only put “That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.” on the Gentile believers. There is no mention of keeping the Sabbath. In the writings of Paul to the church from Romans to Philemon there is no command for the Gentile Christians to keep the Sabbath.
